Public Relations Specialist – Are you a Go Getters?
We are looking for results-oriented, positive, creative, entry level public relations specialists to portray our image. The objective is to help grow our business, while supporting the products and reputation of A Different Vue and its host, Jacquelyn Rochell.
The PR Specialist will primarily serve as a liaison, providing day to day communications, proactive and reactive media relations support, and managing the development of news and articles to raise awareness and drive viewer demand for A Different Vue Radio and Television, Jacquelyn Rochell’s books, and Jacquelyn Rochell.
Candidates must be innovative in contributing to and managing the strategic direction of communications support efforts locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Must have the ability to write communications materials such as news releases, blogs, and fact sheets in accordance with strategic positioning developed by our team.
Strong writing skills, attention to detail, creativity, resourcefulness, initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm are essential.
Candidate needs to be a self-starter and be able to work with a team as well as independently. Wiling to work across all departments, and assist wherever needed.
Expectations:
Student and Graduates in Communications / Public Relations
No minimum experience
Eager to establish US media relations experience and contacts
Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced dynamic environment, often on short deadlines.
Cultivate strong relationships with key journalists in local and national entertainment, business and civic press
Identify and pursue strategic speaking and writing opportunities for Jacquelyn Rochell related press releases
Willing to travel on short notice
